We are looking for a Construction Manager for the Tegelbruket project with a public client responsible for traffic and urban environment.

This is a consulting assignment based in Stockholm.

The scope varies during the project: March–June 2026: approx. 10–20% per week (detailed design of tender documents). From June 2026: approx. 40–50% per week (general contracting).

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The Construction Manager is responsible for construction management tasks with strong knowledge in coordination and production planning, participation in detailed design and contracting phase, as well as ensuring that the work is carried out according to applicable requirements and conditions.

Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for ensuring that the execution of the contractor's work follows the applicable working documents

Lead, call for, and record construction meetings and coordination meetings every other week

Review, follow up, and control the contractor's work on-site including checking self-inspections

Review and control of changes and additional work

Follow up on schedules

Review and control of the diary, participate in the follow-up of the contractor's work environment efforts

Review of financial documentation and monthly lifts

Answer questions/notifications in consultation with the construction project manager

Represent the project towards contractors, external contacts, and third parties

Participate in inspections and site visits and ensure these are carried out, participate in risk management work

Monitor that final documentation and materials for as-built documents are prepared

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

Education:

Contract Law: General Terms AB 04

AMA Construction (AMA20 or AMA23)

MER Construction (MER20 or MER23)

AMA AF 21 or AMA AF 12

Experience

You should have worked at least 5 years full-time in earthworks, road, and utility construction, as a construction manager or at least 1 year as a construction manager if this is complemented by at least 4 years as a contractor in a supervisory position.

Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

Meritorious

Education in Traffic arrangements and earthworks in public land.

You have expertise in:

• Traffic environment with mixed traffic

• Work in confined urban environments

• Road construction, including asphalt paving and paving

• Utility work and coordination of incoming utility contracts

• Experience in leading projects in close proximity to schools
